Savage Model 10 6.5 Creedmoor XLR Element | Pic of the Week 6-6-18

Jessie Scribner XLR Industries

This week we are featuring Jessie Scribner's rifle, built to get him started competing in precision shooting matches. Jessie's rifle features an XLR Element Chassis and an XLR Tactical Buttstock. His chassis holds a Savage Model 10 action and an X-Caliber 24" barrel chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. Sporting a Vortex Razor Gen2 optic, Area 419 Hellfire Brake, Sawtooth Rifles Arca Rail, Atlas Bipod, and American Rifle Company Scope Rings. What an amazing setup to get him started shooting precision matches! This is what Jessie has to say about his new rifle build;

"This is my 1st year competing, I have always shot a lot of rifles but am just now deciding to get into the competition world. The people I have met have been fantastic, I have made a ton of new friends. I shot the JC steel match and was plagued by a bad barrel. After that match I installed the X caliber and then shot the Kettle Falls team challenge, that was the 1st match my partner and I had shot together, we did pretty well overall and finished 15th. The XLR chassis has been a great setup and a great chassis for my 'budget build' to get me started in the competition world."

We look forward to seeing the success Jessie has with his new rifle as he puts more rounds down range and gets used to shooting more matches. Good luck Jessie!
