About: 
I didn't have much of a shooting or hunting background growing up. I grew up in a very competitive family of tennis players and spent most my youth traveling to tournaments. I was burned out by the time I got to college so I made a switch to golf.

A back injury forced me out of that and 2 spinal fusions later had me searching for something I could do to fill the competitive itch when I stumbled upon some long range shooting. Immediately was drawn to everything related to trying to make hits out to 1k yards. Got a good rifle and took a class and then shot my first match a month later. Once I shot my first match I was hooked. There isn't much like hitting steel targets at various distances from a variety of props under the pressure of the clock.
